With unemployment rates so high and climbing we are fortunate to have the selection of job sites to work with on the web. Before you dive in and start filling in profiles, take the time to write a clear and organized resume and cover letter. Seek assistance if you need it and have friends or family read it over for you as well.
The news keeps telling us about the great number of resumes per job opening so make sure yours is the best that it can be, including your talents and achievements. Look at your qualifications and apply for different jobs that require the same skill set. Plan on being patient but also keep searching for openings (and even submit to businesses that you’d like to work for) and keep putting it out there. Like fishing, eventually you will hook something and it may even possibly be better than what you had before.
